| Dalam mengejar keuntungan tanpa melihat kerenah/keluhan pengguna windows, Microsoft (MS) akan mengeluarkan perisian OS baru iaitu Windows 7 ( Windows Seven ) yg diberi kod Blackcomb dan Vienna.
Features yg dipersembahkan termasuk:
1. Sentuhan (Advance in touch)
2. Percakapan ( Speech)
3. Handwriting Recognition
4. Support tuk harddisk virtual
5. improved performance on multi-core processors
6. improved boot performance dan
7. kernel improvements.
Beberapa perisian telah di upgrade dan dihasilkan, antaranya yg terkandung dlm Control Panel:
1. Accelerators
2. ClearType Text Tuner
3. Display Color Calibration Wizard
4. Gadgets
5. Infrared
6. Recovery
7. Troubleshooting
8. Workspaces Center
9. Location and Other Sensors
10. Credential Manager
11. Biometric Devices
12. System Icons
13. Windows Solution Center, and Display. (Windows Security Center telah dinamakan sebagai Windows Solution Center)
Dan Paint dan Wordpad telah juga diupgrade.

BUILDS:
Build 6801
On 8 October 2008, screenshots of Windows 7 build 6801 were leaked. On 28 October 2008, Microsoft distributed build 6801 to attendees at its Professional Developers Conference (PDC). It has since been leaked to bittorrent networks. It features an enhanced taskbar similar to the one in build 6933 although it is disabled by default. An unofficial patch has been released to enable the new taskbar in build 6801.
Pre-Beta 1
Microsoft also demonstrated build 6933.winmain.081020-1842 during the PDC, but did not give it to attendees. On 14 November 2008, screenshots of Windows 7 build 6936 were leaked by Winfuture. On 20 November 2008, Microsoft posted screenshots of build 6948 on the Engineering Windows 7 blog. In early December, WinFutere.de leaked screenshots of Build 6956, which demonstrated a new bootscreen. (Announced by WinFuture since Build 6954) and several improvements. At the WinHEC in China an attendee from the conference leaked a Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) image of Windows 7 Build 6956, then an ISO image was published, in this same site we can see many new screenshots of this build. Lately, Paul Thurrott posted several screenshots on his website of a newer build.
Beta 1
Microsoft has confirmed that Beta 1 will be handed out at MSDN Developer Conference on 13th January 2009 in the form of a DVD.
Release Candidate
The release candidate for Windows 7 will be available after Beta 1.
Final Build
While officially Microsoft has stated that Windows 7 will be released three years after Vista was shipped, the company has indicated that it plans to release Windows 7 in mid-2009, in time for installation on PCs that will ship for the Christmas 2009 buying season.
Ini antara screenshot Windows 7:
1. CLI (Command Line Interface) = Think textual, such as the command prompt or DOS
2. GUI (Graphical User Interface) = The Windows UI
3. NUI (Natural User Interface) = Think of physical interaction with a GUI
4. OUI (Organic User Interface) = Pending developement
Dan Windows 7 dikategorikan dlm NUI (Natural User Interface) tetapi juga harus di ingat, NUI bukan replacement tuk GUI, ia lebih mengalakkan user interact secara lebih fizikal via touch with what you see. Windows 7 akan ader GUI dan ia lebih kurang sama ngan NUI dimana ader fungsi multi-touch.
Anda leh juga campare ngan tablet pc dimana fully leh sentuh tetapi jangan anda keliru ngan teknologi Windows 7 dimana ia bukan sekadar sentuh tetapi multi-sentuh (multi-touch)
Sume teknologi nie membantu kita dan juga pokai kan kita sbb User interface yg tinggi memerlukan graphic yg tinggi juga. tgk laa cam ner nanti, pasti ader patch tuk sesetengah GC tuk allow NUI dlm Windows 7.
